Pm Pornstar. If his Lotus is not sold already he might be interested. David George at The Gearchange still had a Lotus on the wall at Woodstock cycles.

Nic is working like a slave on this exhibition. You can't believe the work he's putting into it ... Stan too, probably, though i haven't seen him. It's the kinda passion and love that turns someone into a towering personality. Beautiful to see.

I went to have a leisurely look this morning and recommend it to anyone who loves the simple beauty of the classic old bikes, more so if you're a proud Saffa.

I've learnt something too:

1. I've never before come across the Diamant name.

2. That De L Ange is a rare beauty that I'll rate right up there with all the Italians I dream of

3. Some of those Alpinas are worth a good drool too

Go have a look, 107 Bree Street, ride your bike there, the cycle lane runs right past the front door!

Hi Bicycle Portraits

Won't you please post a few pictures of some of the bikes in the exhibition here on The Hub? There are some real beauties on display that people like Heyyou (who lives far away) will truly enjoy. After all, there's nobody more qualified to take those pictures than you! :)

Hi, this stream is many years old but hoping some of the members may know who built Alpina bikes in RSA? I am recreating this beauty that meant a lot to my dad and our family, but was stolen.

I am desperately trying to get my hands on some history to understand who and where these bikes were made.

Thanks
