Hey, well done on the podium position, Brandon. What did you win? :)

What was the time for the 65km?

Thx Rydogg, I dont know, was too hungry and tired to hang around lol

I dunno what the winning time was but I did a 3:55 with the guy in 2nd place about half a minute infront of me

Edit: Winner 3h47m

Man that was tough as hell, arms got fried for over 5 hours in the saddle.

Have a proper sleeve tan to prove I was there.

I have never done an entire race on pure single track like that all up or down standing on the peddals.

Lekka

Welldone for finishing CapeLandy! It definitely exceeded my expectations of a tough fun ride!

This was by far one of the most scenic races I've done. That "hidden" valley vistas and constant, neverending singletrack was just magical. Oh, and the weather was perfect.

I would like to know the percentage of singletrack we 've done. I guess about 65%.

Well organized, and waterpoints adequate (although I desperately needed some salt for the cramps).

Still in its infant years, but think this is going to become a popular race on the MTB calendar.

Well done to everyone involved.

Did anyone by any chance pick up a Polar watch in the parking area? Reward offered for its return. No questions asked. Please spread the word.

The data on the watch means more than the watch to me. Even drove back this morning to look for it. I'm very sad :(

As for the race, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of singletrack and how nice and technical it was. And if the climbing didn't take your breath away, the views surely did. They have put a lot of effort in the route and it is greatly appreciated. Very we'll marked too. One of the best races I've done.

Very underrated race which I foresee becoming a lot more popular in the future. Also nice of them to add the trail run for the non-bikers.

Does anybody know if those routes are open to ride during the year, or is it once a year for the race?

P.s. Please see previous post about my lost watch:(
