New Pump Track/Play Place - Edenvale/Bruma

Hi Guys,

I have been approached by a property management company to advise on a BMX track build in the Bruma area.. It appears though that a pump track/jump site might be the better option.... They have the dirt and the Tlb's etc... and want to go ahead asap.. I live too far and have no time for a project like this..

The site has tennis courts, halls, coffee shop etc, etc... Looks like it could be a great place for a new hangout....

Anybody in the area interested in getting involved? No cost, just advice to the developers....

Site is in Hans Pirow Street, Bruma...

I'm in bedfordview, don't have a lot of experience in sculpting anything very worth while.but am keen to be involved and will in all likely spend time there when complete.

Sounds cool, do you know why they are wanting to build riding stuff?

Im keen for it but its a very small group of people that jump or want a pump track.

I have some BMX peeps going to look at the site in the interim.. Please see if you can go past and have a look...26 Hans Pirow Street, Bruma....

Be careful if its only BMXers getting involved, because they often make jumps that are too steep for normal MTB dirt jumpers to ride. (not hating - just my opinion)

Follow the link to a nice article on building a Jump/freeride park:

I guess the trick is to plan it first, BEFORE starting to push dirt around. (like this)

I'm very keen to get involved.

Actually posted about this in gravity section last night. I live in Edenvale and run my own business so I do have the time to get involved.

I have pump track plans from LeeLikesBikes with dimensions etc.

Please hook me up!!

Whats the story with this guys? I use beryl street as training quite often and see they've just cut the grass there.Plenty of space to put in both a BMX and dirt jump tracks.Even possibly I nice flowing single track line with some jumps and other obstacles to improve skills.

Iv got time on my hands over the next month.

anything actually going to happen?
