Jockey wheels: Chainring: I already know the chain needs to be replaced and I am fairly sure my cassette is still okay. Dullstroom, Sabie and Tyger valley in the space of 6 weeks has not been good to my bike... Why ia that chainring running so close to the chain stay? I am not sure if there is a spacer in there and I specifically asked my LBS to check the spacing of the crank as I was concerned about it, so I would be pretty pissed off if its not right. Isn't this just part and parcle of the sport?? i mean why MTB if you are too scared to put your bike through some mud? Rather sacrifice the weight (couple of grams) and put more sturdy components on... Saw this again inthe Epic stage 1 - notioced how many Pro's punctured because they were all on light racing tubeless tyres??? IF they had invested in normal, proper USt tyres (yes, they are heavier) they would perhaps have reached the podium??? Its the black parts in between the frame and bb cups.
