Matt Posted April 15, 2014 Share Hi Hubbers, All jokes aside I've had a few PMs from others who've seen similar things on The Hub. While it's true that Google ads will reflect your search history along with the subject of this site, you should not be seeing any remotely pornographic ads via any of the legitimate advert zones on The Hub. If anyone else has been seeing "odd" ads on The Hub please send me a PM with some details: - Where on the site, classifieds, forums etc? (or a specific page)- When did it start? The most likely scenario is that the computers in question are infected with some kind of malware. If it was a common problem we'd have had many many more reports from users about this. Thanks,Matt
GoLefty!! Posted April 15, 2014 Share Seems many hubbers use theHub as their cover for porn surfing LOL

Thanks,Matt You are spot on Admin, a few people at my work have had the same adverts "inserted" into their browser. This has nothing to do with the actual site but rather it is malware as you put which is installed as part of custom toolbars for your browser. Kaka I guarantee you have a custom toolbar on your browser ? It adds "Smart Ads" this is how you remove them http://www.securitystronghold.com/gates/remove-spring-smart-ads.html
flyluis Posted April 15, 2014 Share I've got an add with a S-works epic on the top corner of my screen, is that considered porn?

Wyatt Earp Posted April 15, 2014 Share On a more seriaas note, I don't think the search history reflects the adverts.I am seeing ads for stuff I never surf, i get a feeling these spammers find trigger words such as "insurance" "photography" "cars" "tits" and whatever else we talk about.
