Not to criticize, but these are 2 completely different rides, SB75 is probably somewhere between a 5010 and Bronson, whereas a Nomad is an almost downhill bike that you can pedal up.

How much is the Nomad going to be out of curiosity?

sorry beanz only saw your comment now, the nomad frame will start from around 35k( thats the alu version i would say a full bike entry from about 75-80 odd. only priced the frame from my side so cant comment on the full bike i am afraid.)

no worries daddyg. Yes I meant frame only. Ouch! 35 must be carbon. Don't think there is an alu (yet?).

to be honest not actually sure oif it is the carbon or alu, i got pricing from greg minaar and was told starting at 35 so i assume its the alu as its normally cheaper?

there is a carbon and alu version from what i can see on the SC site. if i had the money i would spend it on a nomad. in fact if i didnt have the money and hadnt just bought and sb66 i would sell my kidneys on the black market for one( only in this situation because if i come home with another bike now my Mrs will remove my balls with a dull spoon)

ja, place you finger in the middle and it looks like a XC rig to the left and a FR rig to the right.

 care to re-phrase that .....

Find the frame a bit odd ... kind of big and bulky in the front and small swing arm in the rear

The back of that seat tube is white which also makes the seat tube appear spaghetti thin.

if you keep checking with this thread you'll never get anything, there are reasons to get/not get every bike here

i have 2 solutions for you:

1) YT Capra (im super biased)

2) drawing a name out a hat and sticking to it, unless you read the name and think "F*&k no" then completely write that bike off the list

this:

hahahaha yeah i know what you mean ....

But the mind is made up down to a Bronson or Nomad or YT Capra at this stage.

Waiting for Devinci to release their new Enduro beast that Gabe said he could hook me up with just to see what it looks like before making a final decision.

Sorry for the highjack of the thread Nigel, but I am starting to itch for something new as well.

Any thoughts regarding the Rocky Mountain Altitude Rally Edition? Been reading about the noise and frequent servicing of the bushes, but also have some good ride reviews.

Thanks
