Hi Hubbers

I am riding my first night ride on Friday.

I have purchased an LED light, need some advice on the proper installation of the light om thr bike - postioning of the battery pack and wiring .

I do not want to look completely stupid before the ride actaully starts. You know "newbie" with a bike, with the bits and pieces installed imcorrectly.

alot will depend on your frame, the lenght of cables from battery to led etc. also personal pref on how you like your space on your handle bar. make sure then that your battery pack does not slide around, so secure it well. will take a pic of mine and post later. cheers

If you find the battery pack slides down the top tube towards the end of a bumpy ride, just put a cable tie around the frame, just below the point where the BP straps wrap around the frame ...just the frame not all the way round the battery pack .

Mine does not look to pretty but it does not move. I used insulation tape, and leave the battery on the bike during charging.

Maximum, jup no bell at the moment. The only thing i see on my rides are buck and bees. They don't react on bells haha. Cheers

Took an old water bottle, modified it to take the battery.

Light is on my bars and the cable twist around my toptube till it reaches the bottle cage on my seattube.

Only a problem on longer rides when I need 2 bottles for hydration.

Will post pics tomorrow morning.
