Garfield2010 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Well I have done 5 EL70.3 races and in at least 3 of them I was still frozen at the Bike's halfway point. But like JGR said, if you live with the polar bears then why not go with a tri suit?

Fortunately i entered and booked flights and accomodation six weeks ago. Kulula had cheapish tickets, but those are probably long gone now.
davem Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Looks like I will be driving. R3k each for air tickets. Plus bike transport plus car hire plus airport parking. Flying from ORT is not that less time consuming either.

Will do a handful of other 70.3 distance races I said to my wife, Im gonna too look to doing this one, and then maybe Full next year, then that's that.No more Triathlon (Its getting to expensive and crowded). I want to look at Comrades and / or The Puffer.

Don't expect any sort of luxuary but it was reasonably clean if somewhat dated. Very conviniant for the race.
