Cajees worst place ever. I bought my Ghost there. I did my shopping and got my bike at a good price. But the service is crap there. Took my bike in for its first service which was free, but I'm glad I'm done with them. They replaced my back quick release with another used one. When I asked them why they told me it was cracked???? I'm a noob but I don't think that is possible?

Will take my bike to Harry at Metro Cycles in the Vaal next time.

Rookie mistake... you buy a bike there and thats it.

Dont even let them set it up, take it as is and walk out

If you need any after sale service on your Ghost bikes I'd advise going to 'Ballistic cycles' they are also a dealer.search there details on google...I normally use my local LBS but when its ghost specific things I use them and have always had great service.

Cajees works on sell bikes cheap to newbies, while they there sell them all the accessories, helmet, clothing, gloves, shoes, etc etc etc and that's where they make their moola.

I've bought 2 bikes thru Cajees Centurion, i've built a relationship with Moosa and i drive from JHB to get stuff. That's about the only Cajees store i'll deal with, he's also arranged me other good deals on parts/spares etc and each time i call, if he has to he calls me back with info and pricing. I don't put Moosa in the same picture as the other Cajees stores. The rest of the stores, i don't bother with anymore.

As for Ghosts, i've got a 26" RT Lector still, very happy with my machine. Ballistic Bike Trading in Zeiss road (think it's Honeydew) are the agents and i'm sure Henry or Fraser can help you with pricing. Frame crack is 1 think, poor workmanship (from any bike shop) is another thing.

I won't ever take my bike to a Cajees to be serviced!

I have purchased 4 bikes thus far from Cajees in Boksburg and I am in the process of purchasing a 5th. Since I am away for holiday, they even offered to send the bike to me down to the coast . I have not had any problems with them in terms of services, prices, etc. I even returned a road bike after purchasing it as I had changed my mind. They took it back no questions asked and the manager, Ahmed, gave me an even better deal on the next bike. Havnt received better prices from anywhere else. They just did a complete bike rebuild for a friend of mine at no charge. One of the staff, Bilal, gladly assists me with any bike issues on weekends and holidays. Personally I won't shop anywhere else.

I had that experience before I purchased my first bike. The salesman at Cycle lab tried to sell me, I think it was a Merida(can't remember) he had in stock, a Carbon bike, instead of a cheaper entry level bike that wanted. I suppose most of these bike shops try to get rid off their in store stock before ordering new.
