I'm so amped to do it again. If you combine it with a bit of travel before / after the event the long flights and lay overs are worth it.

Actually realized what the dropper post is for. At times I wished for 140mm travel instead of 130mm, but all in all it was a good bike choice. Vibe was like nothing I've experienced in SA and the trails were next level. It was much more humid than what I expected and the Mozzies there are immune to Tabart. The finish on the Olympic Plaza in Whistler was a fitting end to the best week of my life.

pinki Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Tankwa Trek, I've done most of the popular stage races in SA, epic, w2w, Sani etc . Tankwa stands out for me. Not so many riders, great landscape, testing route, good organization and proper test of MTBing skills and fitness.
