Specialized Shops (Johannesburg)

Hi,

 

I'm looking at a Specialized for my next bike.

I just wanted to know from a service level, which Specialized shop (Elite or Concept) has offered the best services in your opinion?

 

I'm based in Illovo, so not too interested in shops in outside Johannesburg, but maybe for everyone's sake, it could be discussed.

Neither.

 

Go and see Anton at Summit cycles in Crowthorne (20 minutes from Illovo).

 

He is a Specialized dealer, runs the business himself and understands he has to work it.

 

You will get the same bike, but proper pre and post purchase service from a committed cyclist rather than from a corporate ghost.

Just avoid the Specialised shop in Melrose.... service is non existent.

 

Dunkeld cycles in the Dunkeld center and Complete Cyclist next to Sandton clinic both have far better service - as does Anton at Summit Cycles.

If you are in Illovo, head to dunkeld cycles in the Dunkeld West centre (fournos)

 

Speak to Mark or Merlyn, otherwise CC Cedar and Ricky

 

Locally they are your best bet.

Went to Complete Cyclist, received great service from Graeme. Took out a demo bike (Epic comp) this morning. Also great service from Christof, who did the fitment. Definitely going back.
