WIGGINS DROPPED FROM SKY FOR TDF 2014

Understand what you're saying grumpy and with the Tour starting in Yorkshire it will be tough but I'm afraid SKY is another global corporation devoid of any emotion and Brailsford, Wiggo and Froome are just employees.

 

Sure, maybe, ....perhaps I am just feeling nostalgic but I like to think there is a heart beating somewhere in these big corporations. Time will probably prove me wrong but I live clinging to that hope.

Yes in dreamland (for the British) it would be nice if a real Brit like wiggins could win the TDF again.

 

At the end of the day SKY want a winner on the podium in as many races as possible with the TDF being the top of the list...any winner as long as its a SKY rider irrespective of nationality...otherwise the team would consist of 100% natural British born riders. The team is multi national.

 

IMO at the end of the day if you compare the 2014 run up to TDF Froome has despite a few set backs easily out performed Wiggins to justify his #1 TDF status in the team, and yes he should also have the yay or nay about who will support him this year, especially when it comes to super doms like Wiggins.

 

The sooner one of them leaves Sky and joins another team the better then we can see them really race against each other without team politics getting in the way

I guess a lot of people will be following Wiggins in the upcoming Tour De Suisse, which will cleary show what kind of form he has at the moment......my guess is he could win it...if he has the inclination to say "vat so meneer bruilsford..."
