Thats it boys, we can't go on like this...this can't be good for one's health!

Great ride Dave sorry for that 5sec, you had me against the ropes for most of it, just lucky to be ahead when the clock stopped!

tomorrow im riding on the PowerBeam as i believe one will get a higher Power reading on the PowerBeam than on the IC for various reasons.

only after the race tomorrow will we know for sure. but after that effort i really was smashed...... well done!!

Like any true cyclist that has a deep longing to improve, I am already contemplating my next move while drinking a quart of Castle Light.

You guys buggered me up big time. Took half a bottle of Port to recover. Bit out of your league. Cant remember when last I avg 178bpm over 52min. Well done guys. Reckon my race tomorrow evening will have to be in the endurance or temp zone otherwise I might not make it. Reckon this will do wonders to my fitness

Some of my stats...

bpm = avg 162

rpm = avg 74

speed = avg 34.6km/h

power = avg 250W

This was a sufferfest of epic proportions....I had ernst.foster pulling away from me little by little on the front and cobus wessels and jaco bitting on my heals. Loved life

response and feeback was 10 times better than a previous race dave....awesome. Big thanks to you and the dev team listening to our feedback. It also seems the pc version is working lekker now. Getting one of these trainers is probably the best money spent on cycling stuffs. We suffer like dogs in the week and play on the weekends

guys - quick question

does this take rider weight into account, or does it ONLY measure power output and base it on that?

I think lightweights will battle with this. I could be wrong but I dont think it uses w/kg.

ah ok... so either way its flawed.

if they ask the riders to enter their weight, then its easy to cheat the system. If they dont base it on weight, then lighter riders will get beaten every time

Hi Fand

Yes it does take rider weight into account...here is a rough explanation of how it determines your speed on a course

Rider weight + Bike Weight + current slope = Speed

This means that your wheel might be spinning at 20km/h but your output speed on the screen is 15km/h as an example. This makes it as fair as possible on everyone. Now of course people can cheat the system and input a weight of 55kg whilst they eating away on pies, but they only cheating themselves. My bike weight and physical weight exactly matches what they are in real life

Nope the lighter riders beat us....true story. just like they would in real life

PS Sure they can cheat....but with it being VR, you are only cheating yourself
