So last night a did one of the routes used in last weeks race, however i see it has not uploaded to my online profile where i can see the data etc. the other test rides i did uploaded automatically, have i done something wrong or is there a way to make it upload?

go back into the application, assuming you are using the app, and try upload the workout again, it will be under activities.

are you sharing the file with other services like strava? does it go to strava if so?

No not sharing with other apps...

Using the desktop version but cant find the activity anywhere, its as though i never did anything.

Not serious though, will try again on my next ride and see what happens

try open PowerAgent, if you have PowerAgent installed on your PC it should say something like: Virtual Training Data found, would you like to import it.

Dave or any IT expert, is there any way to get route files and video's from the desktop to a Ipad?

no, definitively not for iPad.

we working on something for Android but still some time off as its only on the wish list for now.

iPad/Apple is very very tricky.

Its a closed environment so as you said, wont be possible....has its strengths and weaknesses.

Guys if you have any friends looking for a PowerBeam stock is a little on the low side, we only have around 5 of each trainer left in stock.

new stock ordered but ETA is mid/end Sept.

Quick question:

In my box with my bluetooth powerbeam pro I've got a speed/cadence sensor. Today my brother got his ANT+ powerbeam pro but only got a cadence sensor, no speed sensor?

Is this correct?

Posted

correct. the BLE system speed/cadence is built in and branded PowerTap, the speed sensor is not really used as NISI says speed is calculated through the unit.

this is not 100% correct as speed is actually calculated the same way as if you were to use a PowerTap on any other trainer, known Power, Known weight and Known grade with a calculation of speed.

I got a powerbeam ant+ and received only a cadence sensor ,speed is picked up by the powerbeam itself

Just strange, why would there be a speed sensor with the bluetooth powerbeam, speed could also be picked from the powerbeam?
