I took it down. I can put up another. what distance/climbing are you chaps looking for?

 

28km with 164m of climbing and a max grade of 5%

24km with 173m of climbing and a max grade of 4%

we can go longer, shorter, more/less climbing ?

im in, never thought i would say it but to me downhills/flats are harder i use much more effort,, see you okes later,,,,,,,,,,you guys must get the 70kg race up :devil: :devil: :devil:

Whats with the race weight story?

Does the system factor in your weight?

It does swiss...see it takes your power output(how hard you pedalling) and use your weight to determine your speed up a gradient. Weight is input via two setting...rider weight and bike weight...system simply adds the two together.

 

Lets say we both churning out 200watts...but you weigh 80 and I weigh 100. Your speed will be adjusted, quite clever

Makes sense, do you have to enter the weight every time you do a ride or is it a one time thing that is part of the user info (age, sex, etc...) that you record on initial set up?

Its an honesty thing...sort of like a handicap. You can go and alter it at anytime after the initial setup, but I generally dont.

Haha...I weigh myself every morning, keeps me honest!!

For the record 74.9 kgs this morning...its the lightest I have been for many years :clap: normaly i'm somwhere between 78 - 80.
