Counting the seconds [emoji354]

Now normally I don't have any issues with my sons inviting friends over and them staying here for days on end, kind of - well at least I know where they are and they are safe esp teenagers..but I am now counting down till the last one goes home so that we can watch this movie...because of course my sons want to watch it as much as what I do.. Also downloaded it for incase there is wifi issues later on.

The Irishman is a masterpiece.

It is long so clear you evening or afternoon when you watch it and make sure there are no distractions, give it all the attention it deserves.

Filmaking at it's finest..

What was really nice was watching it with my eldest (the youngstest didn't join us).. he is a bit of a movie buff and appreciates great filmaking, something rare in teenagers. It has now replaced the Deer Hunter as his favourite movie.

It's a 10/10 from me

Tried to watch it tonight, but I'll have to watch it again from the start. It started off well, though!!!

Yeah you need time to watch it..it is really good..

The story is so well told the acting is absolutely incredible, they dont act..they are and that goes for the entire cast..and what a cast it is.

De Niro is absolutely fantastic, Al Pacino is fantastic, Pesci's best work. Everything about it was done to perfection..editing, cinematography, score, script.. Scorsese delivered something brilliant.

Then tried Boondock Saints, and I did not realise that Norman Reedus was one of 'em! Sjoe.

And not the typical Pesci mobster role...he really was incredible.

Afterwards my son said.. "So mom you know how we said Phoenix delivered the best performance in a decade for Joker.. Al Pacino, De Niro and Pesci just said..."Hold my beer "

First thing he said this morning was. So we are watching it again tonight hey mom.

rad, will watch that, too

Pretty cool those 4 sitting around a table discussing matters.. Scorsese goes into some detail around the de-aging tech and that tennis balls were not going to work as markers..and why he didnt want to use younger actors for the different era's... Edited by Gen
