The shuttle service of getting your car driven to Scottburgh is full.

Is there anyone who can give one person a lift back to Underberg (or Howick)? No bikes. On the 15th May.

I'm hoping someone who is on their way back to Joburg.

 

We will pay costs.

Is it full booked for all three days? you might get there a day or two sooner, let them take your vehicle down for you and then just organise a ride to the start come race day which should not be to difficult

Dont know what batch we are in. Will find out Tuesday at registration.

 

But it will be in O, P, Q or somewhere near the back. Actually doesn't matter where we are batched. We will just pitch up and the group we start with we start with. 

 

Who on earth wants to be up in the dark, start riding in the dark and finish before lunch is served?

 

There is only one way to do this. Start a bit later when it is nice and warm, about 09H00 or there abouts. Ride leisurely along, enjoy the water beer stops. Take pics, get home at about 15H00 or so. Just enough time for a shower, a sundowner or two and then supper. Have a lekker day out on the bike. None of this sitting at the campsite from 12H00 getting as bored as heck.

 

Slowbs...you've got this waxed!!   I really hope that we can hook up for at least one of the stages...it will be lekka to catch up on everything (since we just can't seem to get together here at home...) Go figure - we'll each travel 1000's km's to ride together when we actually only reside 10km from each other!! 

 

I'm super exited!!  Tonight I will start laying my kit out on the bed...and see if all fits into 100L box... only 6 more sleepies...
