I have never used Tacx, so honestly can not say anything about their product. Cycleops works great, plus the backup is good.

Dave: maybe they can look at a way to pick up a half download. If you loose your download it all restarts from the beginning. Can be quite frustrating.

is this on a desktop? i have found this on a few routes where the size is over 1.8GB however as my PC runs 8h a day 5 days a week downloading routes most of the routes on desktop are less than this and download even over 2 days depending on internet speed.

PC yes. I am sure the problem is on my side but still I have a half download of whatever big file. It would be great if it can continue from there rather than start at scratch. MWEB movie downloads work like that.
