I'm looking at selling my frame and components.

 

I will be keeping the following:

- Wheels

- Front Shock

- XX Brakes

 

The following components will be sold:

- Frame + shock (Fox Suspension Float RP23 Rear Shock)

- XX crank 2 x 10 (175mm)

- XX cassettes (plus a spare)

- New SRAM 1091R chain

- XX shifters (2 x 10)

- Easton seatpos

- Giant SLR carbon cockpit

 

 

What is an realistic price I can ask for the frame and components?? Need help here please!

As the 2015 model are being released and the fact the Giant have stopped all production and research and development on their 29er range i don't think you can ask for to much. In fact i tell you what, i'll do you a favour and take it off your hands :devil:

 

Seriously though, I'm not to clued up on these bikes, but I'm sure you can sell it for a few R1k's

do what everyone else does if you want to get a realistic price, go through the classifieds for each of your parts and see what is similar to get an idea of price.

Is that the Advanced (carbon) frame?

 

For an indication, have a look at what the frame costs new and then advertise for about 60-70% of that. The rest you will be better off selling separately

Yes, this is the carbon. I know the frame alone cost +R20k. Did found out a couple of months back for insurance matters from CWC.

Such an awesome bike.

Why sell it?

The only reason I can think, is that times are tough, because if it's to upgrade, you will be spending much money for not much more bike.

Looking at the 2014 Specialized S-Works Epic 29 frame that I might get at a very good deal.
