2FO Flat Shoe Highlights

Doesn't look much deeper than my Minnaars.

 

perhaps, but minnaar's aint regular clipless shoes. But the first edition minnaars had their own issues with crankbrother compatibility. You had to either shim your clips, or widen the recess in the shoe by cutting the sole. I went with shims.

which reminds me to sell mine. Thanks!

Cleat slots have been shifted further back towards the midfoot, and extended an additional 4mm backwards (known by Specialized as Body Geometry Neutral), making them more suited to downhill and all mountain riding and allowing for a more neutral stance once engaged in the pedals.

Any idea on availability?

Not sure when but the owner of my LBS/spez concept said they are definitely coming. They are overseas now checking out all the 2015 spez stuff.

Thanks, definitely in the market for shoes like this. And I'll sommer use them on Day 1 of W2W walking up that bloody mountain.... :)
