There is nothing better than getting a new bike. For R5k, you won't get much, but it will probably be fine for her. Look at Axis, Momsen and Titan. They are normally a bit more than your budget, but you may get a good deal considering the impending release of the 2015 bikes. Sportman's wharehouse were selling 650b Schwinns for R5500.
