If its the same as last year its not a lot of climbing, I think about 700m if it is that much, but have enough water.

Hey guys...not cool that no one was doing medals for later finishers...had to go ask for one from the announcer whilst the prize giving was going on for a couple of us that had some mechanicals...

I finished quite late after dealing with several mechanicals. I didn't receive a medal (I wouldn't have taken it anyway) but got a nice little goodie bag instead.

 

Hell it was hot.

Pity that I missed u Talus!!

 

Yep, was hot - this was my 1st MTB race for the year, and although I went quite hard in the beginning, I found the race tough!  Lost the battle with fatigue at about 45km and crawled home.

 

Race Time did the timing - results not up yet!

 

Was a good (and final) prep for the CPT starting in 2 weeks time.
