They're all cool machines.

Distinguish between an aero bike or an all-rounder type

Also, distinguish between a heritage type machine like an Italian type or done thing else

I'd say go test a few

You'll know when you meet her I reckon.

I'm a sucker for the Euro stuff especially Italian. Don't forget, Campagolo wears in, everything else wears out. There are some really nice bargains in classifieds for frames, wheels and components. With your budget I would get a new frame and source some top end wheels and Campag components of course and then put something special together.

I got the first 2015 Bianchi Infinito CV frame to hit SA. Get hold of the distributors J&J, there might be one or two available depending on your size.

At the end of the day you need to pick a bike that makes you want to ride, not something that everyone else thinks is the best.

To be honest the venge excites me a whole lot more than any of the custom boutiquestuff, so personally I would rather want that.

But that is just me.

Agree fully. I get that feeling with the Venge and Bianchi... It is always useful to gather opinions from others and those shared on this forum are confirming my original urges of Specialized or Bianchi

I agree. Some bikes just 'do it' for you...and others don't. Not to say they aren't great bikes.

I went with my heart and got the Venge. Don't regret it for one moment. Drool over it every time I walk past it in the garage and get the same feeling when I ride it. But hey, that's just me

PM Mrlook and see if he has any deals on the LOOK 675.

Thanks Gummi. I've actually got a few deals...including a few 695's that I'm clearing. Rick forward me your phone number if you're interested.
