Its good motivation and maybe I can find a cycling group that fits my strengths and weaknesses. Any one currently doing the normal Audax?

Speed Racer Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Hi Everyone Entries for the Randonee Populaire can be done at http://www.cycleevents.co.za/road-events/randonnee-populaire-2014/#more-8817 This is a 108km road ride through the Cradle and Hekpoort taking place from the Nirox Sculpture Park in the Crade on 26/10. This is a great training event for the 94.7 taking place in our cycling backyard. The start is at 7am. Entry fee includes entry to Africa Cycle Fair sponsored by Standard Bank http://www.africacyclefair.com/ on the day of the event. Plenty of stuff to do for the whole family.

The shorter distance attracted 70 participants, a record turnout for an Audax event this year! The purpose of the event was to raise funds to send a disadvantaged rider to France next year for, Paris -Brest-Paris, a 1400 km Audax event.
