Mada3400 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 now i was going to ask what the difference between GXP and bb30 and all the other things are but then i realized that i don't really care, i mean, its useful information but it doesn't answer the question that i actually want answered what kind of bb does my gt force (2013) have? ps: feel free to answer the first question just above the rude but honest bit too

floatfox Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Gxp bb...you crank spindle that fits through your bb is 24mm..bb30 you have a 30mm thick spindle. Thats one of the reasons bb30 and gxp doesnt work on each other..you do get a conversion kit if you want to run a gxp crank on a bb30 bb..

droo Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 GXP and Hollowtech are two different things... GXP is SRAM/Truvativ and Hollowtech is Shimano. The two are not compatible. The three letters you were looking for were BSA, which refer to the English BB thread standard.
