I've got the correct number but I'm only starting in the last 50km batch at 7:50. I've only done one race before, so I guess my seeding isn't very good.

Will do my best though :-)

Indeed, the SAS guys are there, they'll sort you out.

Thanks Pal. I just got back from Epic Cycles, they do have replacement boards :) See you all tomorrow . Good luck! I am anticipating a couple of falls through the fast technical sections lol .

Really enjoyed the route today...The extra work they've done on the other side is great and looking forward to going back and hitting those jumps properly...started in c and came in with with a 2:18.

Excellent hard race - for 50 km. Lots and lots of single-track.

Damaged my front tire on about 32 km in race and lost about 15 min changing to a tube. Will cost a few $$$ to replace (3 cm cut )

no time for recovery in this race but finish   ^_^  ^_^  ^_^  :w00t: .

Were you about 20m after a jump on the left?

Lovely ride. Went off in B batch for 30 km and finished just a few minutes over 2 hours.

Loved the BMX track on the other side of the road to Red Barn.

I really enjoyed the whole thing. Good effort by the organisers on laying out an interesting and enjoyable course :-)

I found it a tough ride - and not having a computer on board made it hard to judge effort over distance, but there was nothing too technical, almost no mud and no climbs that were too hard. Just miles and miles (literally) of different types of singletrack.

I started in C batch on the 50km and stuck to Pushers back wheel like a Fridge Magnet for the first 25 km or so, then had to stop and pee and never caught him again! Ended up with around a 2:40 I think, 5 mins behind him.

I had no trouble parking, no problem picking up my number and certainly no problem following the markers when I was on my own - which at one point was for several km's through the trees near the end! All in all - a good morning out :-)

Up near the front and in the single track there was an S-bench with a low hanging branch which if you are small was okay to duck under, but when I got there and no matter how flat i went, i smashed my head and shoulder. Helmet cracked and a serious headache even today. While i was trying to pull myself together, there must have been a half dozen other guys who did the same thing, but fortunately had slowed seeing me on the side of the track. Its something Dylan should consider cutting down. Upto that point we where having a super race chasing Jan... damn he is quick in the technical stuff!!!

I also hit that branch with my shoulder after I just managed to get my head out the way. Got a very nice scar to prove. It hurt so much I tasted my breakfast for a few km after that.

But a good race/event nonetheless

Shees, bad luck dude! Hope you heal up soon. I test rode the track with Dylan, I'm 1.88m tall and ride a XL dual sus bike and I managed to clear it, so we didn't think it will be a problem. But I'll take it up with them
