Plascon Remove ALL not working! Help!?

I'm stripping my Scott Spark Elite to bare aluminum.

I've applied the alleged holy grail of paint stripper.... And no joy. There are no bubbles of paint and certainly no washing off of paint. It seems that the clear coat is incredibly resilient. I've left it on for two hours and no result as shown in other builds on the hub.

Any suggestions? Anything I'm possibly (probably) doing wrong?

I left it on my steel steed overnight. Worked a treat.

Apply liberally and leave overnight as others have said, you should be able to wash off.

There will be a few places where it does not work as well and may need to repeat the process

That stuff is wonderful but it doesn't work on epoxy and various other finishes. If you leave it overnight and the paint is still barely affected then you are outta luck, then it's mechanical removal for you - sand/beadblasting or sandpaper.

No expert but if it can't penetrate the finish then can't you just rough up the surface with a few rubs of sandpaper and then add the stripper.

(wow that sentence sounds so dodgy)

The stripper doesn't react with certain paint types/chemicals, if it's one of those paints you can roughen things up till the cows come home and the stripper is still going to do nowt. I've tried the "till the cows come home" technique and eventually I had to do it the hard way, with sandpaper and tears.

Cape Paint and Panel make an epoxy paint stripper that'll take the enamel off your teeth. The only thing it doesn't get through is a sticker.
