Mollema did.. and stayed away.. Gallopin tried but Thomas chased him down (those 2 only seperated by 1sec on GC)

I’m so happy and this victory is for my teammate Ivan Basso, he’s now at home, and also Daniele Bennati, who crashed today. Also my family and my wife, who gives me a lot of power.

"I didn’t come here for the GC, I came here to help Alberto and we have some opportunities. It’s still a long Tour de France and we have to fight 100 per cent with Alberto."

Ja.. he was just as impressive and humble last year.[emoji106]

 

Time for them to start thinking of building a team around him. It's no secret that Bertie will probably retire end of 2016 and majka is gaining valuable experience.
