Or like when Contador got caught?

Contador has never doped he said so himself.

"Contador still believes he is still the 2011 Giro champion. On Saturday, he held up three fingers as he stood atop the podium and said later: “Those who saw me here in 2011 know who won the race."

Not a bad call, cannot have those lost in translation headlines.

Its what I said I would do above [emoji14] [emoji14] [emoji14]

Unfortunately their PR approach is a bit well bad.. he brought attention to it hours before it went public and now he refuses to adress it. It just giving the press and the public that gap to ask more questions and the less answers they get the more questions will follow. Like I said now everything will be questioned, the rush TUE job, the inhaler issue will come out again. More and more questions.

Maybe Froome is a freak of nature, maybe he is just that much better. Maybe growing up in Kenya is the reason his lung capacity is so much.

I don't see that there is anything wrong with asking questions, it's just when the press start getting stonewalled about something you brought or only speaking to certain members of the press who don't ask the questions you don't want to answer that people will say.. hey wait hang on.

Well I'm not his number one fan but as some hubbers appear to be Contador fans fanatics who in their eyes can do no wrong and against sky/froome I feel a need to even things out. (good for goose good for gander).

It's all good and has been happening around the TDF since the Hub started. Of course it could all blow up in my face, like the LA TDF era but I'm a big boy and can take it and the cycle of life goes on.

Seems you just read what you want to believe. One sided? I'm sure I've read more than one Contador FAN accepted froome's win, ALSO said the stage was won BUT not the tour. you even nothing without a substantiating argument, thus making you one sided.

Anyways it's a new day with a new stage, new terrain and new weather conditions. May the best man win and I still say Berto has a fighting chance. We only at stage 11.

Too many ASSumptions by too many of us.

Fact is, we've never seen a clean rider be that dominant in the mountains, so raising an eye brow is probably justified.

If Froomedog is the first, then well done to him. That sure was nothing short of remarkable.

You can't say that question will NOW be asked because of how they handled the PR yesterday? They have always asked questions.

If people think Froome is doping but can't prove it then just say so that has more credibility than insinuating it, and coming with all these theories about press cover ups etc.

Who knows, maybe he is dirty, and if he is he will get caught, just like Berto did!

So no rider has EVER been that dominant without cheating? You state it's a fact. Please substantiate that FACT with proof. You don't need to go back to the beginning, just the last 50 years is fine.

Ps: please don't misconstrue me pointing out BS arguments as support for Froome.

We've heard so many stories over the years about what happens sometimes to riders after a rest day.

If you aren't careful with what you do on a rest day, the body can switch into 'recovery mode' and start shutting down to start the process of rebuilding. That's exactly what riders don't want, so they'll generally go on a tempo 2 - 3 hr ride on the rest day to try and prevent this from happening.

But it doesn't always work out that way, so we often see riders have a shocker after a rest day with dead legs, etc. Seems to me that AC and Nibs both had that yesterday.

They're both still champions and that's not going to suddenly change overnight. I fully expect both to bounce back, and when they do I won't be suspicious of overnight doping. I'll just take it that they had the age-old issue of "bad day after a rest day syndrome".

I agree with you....why not just give credit where it is due. Surely Froome has been tested......and as a a stage winner, will he not be tested more so? And if tests show he is clean..............then accept that he is better than the othe riders so far??!! Sjoe....Some peeps have a serious inferiority complex.........

Going back 50 yrs, maybe not a good idea. There was probably only a handful not doping[emoji6]

PS.. cycling is still not the dirtiest sport.
