I would have long ago resorted to making fart noises with my mouth if I was him.

They aren't intetested to hear what he says about the race, they are only interested in asking doping questions.

That is also true hey

I think Froome should just be careful not to alienate the good press, he has a golden opportunity here to swing everything in his favour, and he should keep his wife far away from his social media accounts.

That is unfortunately the legacy of the sport.

Any maillot jaune should be prepared to answer questions about doping, no matter how irritating or tough.

Yates didn't even throw the bottle. The mechanic did. Amazing who bears the brunt at times. Just imagine the response if the camera bike knocked S4gan?

Just so the TDF coverage do not get interrupted they can push riders out of the way? Bit confusing as to who is important.

But anyway it is what it is, what's more important is the weather conditions for tomorrow's long altitude stage? Contador might just improve as he can descend better than most riders.

Any pointers dale/gen?

i'd like to see Moviestar attack on the descent hey.

Bert is also good at descending,  but it all depends on what he feels like today, the pace will no doubt be hard to avoid Moviestar doing just that.. and with tomorrow being a rest day, well it could very well be a very hard stage today.

“I was up last night with diarrhoea. Obviously I don’t want to say that before the start of the stage, in case of team tactics you pray for an easy start..."

I can imagine why he is fed up having to repeat over and over again the same answers to the same questions... and perhaps trying to do it his way.

I have been watching the uk coverage of it on ITV4 and he seems relaxed and open discussing with the UK tv and reporters.... maybe it's the French ones he does not like

LOL no. Maybe next year!

I was thinking more of the melting tar . . . .

Good idea.

Rather play it safe in the heat.

I'll be around the Tour later this week.

Not wearing a Borat suit either.  :whistling:

Brrrrrrrr!

Weather: hot and sunny with tarmac-melting temperatures of 33˚C with a light 10km/h tailwind from the west.

It was awesome.

Felt for Beloki though. He never came back from that accident really.

Plus he had Asthma (or he was taking meds for asthma anyway . . .)
