I have been following this thread sins the tour started and I have 2 questions. "I'm still new to the hub so don't murder me." 1) Why does Tinkoff help Sagan more to get a stage win? 2) Why is Froome/Sky so hated in the tour? As Froome seems like a nice guy to me...

Some more Sagan love. . From Greipel

My opinion after today.@petosagan is the strongest rider with the highest pain level @letour. We are proud to be able to contest 4 a while!

I think that Sagan and G must be the two best riders in the world at the moment.

Firstly hellooo and welcome

1) tinkoff's main objective In the opening week was GC for Contador..that's not going to happen. . now Sagan is free to try and secure the green jersey.

2) much like with Barcelona was/is.. Sky are so dominate .. and it's Sky. Those pommies and their marginal gains[emoji6]

"I'm OK, I just hit my head on a lamppost but I'm alright," said the chirpy 29-year-old, who reacted with typical dry humour.

"It was a hard right and I was just following the wheel and then all of a sudden Barguil went into me.

"I feel alright for now. I guess the doctor will ask me my number and date of birth soon," he added, jokingly claiming to think his name was Chris Froome.

"A nice Frenchman pulled me out but I lost my glasses as well. They don't even make them any more."

“I am trying every day. What can I do? Every day I am trying... if God wants, I win. If not, I come second, third…”

Managed to avoid all news, and this site, until the replay today.

3 things I have learnt:

1) Barguil, you are just another bloody Frenchie unnecessarily messing with Team Sky.

2) Peter Sagan is a total legend

3) thank goodness for helmets - Go, G!

Edit, edit, late breaking news from the TV replay: 4. Gen must be jealous of Peter's girlfriend. :whistling:

I think I habe now watched amd read all the possible Sagan interviews. . Last one.. I think

"Today, I also had many great friends in the group that all wanted to stay with me so it was very difficult to do something but I did my best, also for the supporters”.

Been trying to think of another sportsman who is that good, with what looks like such a relaxed persona and sense of humour. Not coming up with many...
