Gen Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I will put a couple of bucks on Bert going today...he is smart and will know that tomorrow will see the black sky train dominate. There is no doubt Froome wants the win tomorrow and nobody will be allowed to move.I think people will see Froome at he's best tomorrow...its payback time for him on that climb.Bert said his attack of yesterday wasn't because he had good legs, it was out of desire (or something like that).. he will maar try and try. Apparently the guys were really tired yesterday.
'Dale Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Froome Dawg is tiredHe's spent many days in the golden fleece The angst and drama of being interrogated by the mediaSprinting when he shouldn't really need to, burning important watts I expect a dramatic bonk today or tomorrow, GO QUINTANAAAAAAA
scotty Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 There seems to be better vibes between Froome and Quintana than either between Contador, cant see Quintana allowing Contador any leeway making Froomes job just that much easier.

Whoever wins up Alpe d' Huez, that will be a special victory. She is one of the special climbs in le Tour history
Gen Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I take it back, he is quite hot.. and now I feel like a perv cause he is so young

Dis nie lekker nie....ek hoep jou balles jeuk vir die res van die toer... I'll be nice and leave out the bit with fish hooks
Gen Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Froomey is just human. He himself can only lose this, if he races stupid. And he has had some brain farts.. he will have to decide, secure lead or go for stage win, if he goes for stage win and does too much he might find himself bonked.
isn Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Bertie will do a "go bust or go a place higher" ride today. He is no longer in contention for a win unless the dreaded crashes happens which nobody wants. It's a proper win or nothing. So it's all set for froome to be just patient and time things properly. He don't have to stress about Bertie or Nibles. That's why I suspect the two of them to break early after the first climb on the descent possibly. Let's hope their teams can be of proper lead outs today. Quintana is draining froome hectically.

I'll be nice and leave out the bit with fish hooks I think both Dale and I just want to see them klap each other properly on the climbs, not these half hearted attacks lol Cause I like the racing bit.
Nibali Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Bert said his attack of yesterday wasn't because he had good legs, it was out of desire (or something like that).. he will maar try and try. Apparently the guys were really tired yesterday. He said it was a attack from the heart, what a racer he is! I really hope him and Nibbles try to do something spectacular, I haven't done a happy dance this whole tour...

Its not Froome's fault, I think he has done more than his fair share of klapping and making the racing exciting... Its time the lower podium and almost podium hopefuls started making a race of it

Pure Savage Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Bit sad it has come that when Bertie attacks nobody bats an eye lid. They don't even up there cadence.

Quntana at least tried to react.
