+1 let's just hope nothing goes wrong in the team TT to mess with anyone's chances. Next week will be Epic. As much as he was messing around, would have loved to see Mr Sagan attempting to do again what he did on the Tour de Cali to keep up with the climbers

He'll be working for Bert, will probably find him on the front of the tinkoff train for most of the day (on mtn stages) and then once he is kaput the climbers will move infront to take over. That will be his job and he will do a great job for Bert.

Ja, but that's not the same though... :( I remember the year Voeckler was in yellow it was awesome. You knew it was just how long he'd last but you would just have to cheer for him. (plus I am forced to hope that he will do a terrible job for Bert :))

That unfortunately isn't going to happen. . Sagan has shown already this week that he is strong and will sacrifice for Bert. ( and has already sacrificed for bert)

When you support Chris you have to pretend you are a heartless, clinical Skyborg so I will just say...

... Go, Pete... :)

... Not Bert. ..

bert could win this by sheer default of no one else left to win it !

Nah, Richie P has been slacking off for 3 days with Poels at the back. Vroome is looking strong as anyone. Gerry T is strong like ox. Nothing irregular... to be found. My optimism knows no bounds.

Remember 20:12 09/07... (Hell, I wish Sagan was on our team!!)

I humbly withdraw my thought, m'lady... (you uncouth lot would be calling him Satan if he was!) :)

We'd probably end up liking sky.. and that must never happen.. . It would be like committing career suicide for sagan.. as it did with eddie B..[emoji12] [emoji12] [emoji12]

But back to real life.. Porte has been working hard.. especially in first half of the stages.. they must watch out for overworking Thomas though

Every time the heat has gone on or splits have happened, Porte has gone back as far as I could see. Koenig, Poels, Kennaugh, and Porte are all possie 136 and back, over 30mins behind. And they will be the mountain helpers. Either they have a huge problem, or they are being very cunning. (Or I am clueless... Which is highly likely... Like my jinxing everything above!)
