Have you got a Form 8130/ One for those parts??

Don't laugh. EASA is here this week. I had to time this well. Their morning session was here but we not adding any EASA cap so they didn't schedule a trip to my shop but you know how these auditors go. The afternoon session is with my HOD so I knew that was my chance.

So.... where did the rest of the fluid go

I can only imagine it was never bled properly when I got the bike. The bike stood for a while as I was not doing much(or any for that matter) MTB. Then I decided to start using it again for commuting. Seemed a waste to just have it hanging while I commute on my old 26inch MTB. I have never had a leak. Maybe one of my enemies drained it out.

Simple question :

Can i use mineral oil to bleed my Xloc remote lockout ?

Guess Reverb 2.5WT should be used, but the viscosity of both oils are pretty the same.....  and temperature is not an issue in a remote lockout

Lockdown....... boredom.......backyard mechanic.......

Back in the day when I was an intern I serviced an Xloc and filled it with Shimano mineral oil, never had a comeback so I assume that it works fine.

Yes, will work fine. Probably better than the RS 2.5.
