Been itching for a long time to pop by and finally went today. Really awesome "corner cafe" type feel, very different from my super commercialised LBS.

Nice to meet you @Robodog!

P.S. I was the guy looking at the 2015 Cube Stereo and the XT SPD pedals.

Hi guys I need to compliment you and let everyone know the awesome service I have received. After years of battling and changing my LBS twice I decided to try the Trailhead. It was no easy task but Donna managed to work her magic and sort out all the nagging problems on my Lefty. For the first time in years I can go for a ride without hearing squeaks and clanks. From advice to calls to update me and even a follow up call to see if I was happy these guys went out of their way to get me back onto the trails smiling. Thanks Donna and Sean you guys are legends!

They are now called Sprocket and Jack if you are planning on contacting them. I don't know if they do rides, but the Spruit is an easy option.

Beware, if they offer a 5'1" 40kg guide called Amy to show you around. Run, Forrest, run. You are not strong enough !

And if they offer you a skeleton called Grant, who is not strong enough to ride a bike with a derailleur and therefore only has one gear, be afraid, very afraid.

ps. I don't know if they do hire out bikes, but they are good people and deserve support

Hey dude

We sold the shop 18 months ago to Sprocket & Jack. Tom is working at Giant Jhb in Greenside (old Mikes Bikes) if you want to catch up with him.

I'm still coaching MTB skills and doing some oil paintings as always. Also involved in a couple of start ups...

Cheers

Sean
