Operator Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Hi guys So thaught long a And hard about getting m MTB and instead of the avalanche 29er, I got a second hand good condition GT I-DXC 1.0 for R5000. U guys think I spent to much and is the bike good? Has fox float,deore xt,and rockshox fork. Would like to get new rims though. Any suggestions on rims? How do I upload pics?

Skylark Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I'd say you paid too much and that's assuming everything is in perfect working order and the drivetrain is still well within wear limits, if not then you definitely paid way too much. That's an old bike and nothing near the top range in its day and it's a 26er so no demand for them whatsoever 2hnd. But you'll no doubt have a good time riding it so enjoy it!
Operator Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 Thanks skylark. The guy at the shop wanted 6k but gave it to me for 5k an said I'm gettiNg the bike for free. And they don't make this bike anymore and they were about 16k new he said. So will go there tomorrow and ask if I can swap it for the avalanche xxix 29er zero on special for R4600 brand new.
