Let me know if you decide to pull the trigger in future, maybe we can split the shipping?

My wife is so pissed at me after the pike and 2fo clip lites I bought this week, I might as well make use of the opportunity[emoji33]

BUT would also prefer to do it a bit later...

I just brought in a couple of sets of rims from a different company - look super nice - 30x30 UST rims - lets just say they did not have the shipping charge that LB has... not even close.... I was going to get some of LB's 38mm rims - changed my mind.

And the quality looked pretty damn good to us. Let us know if you find out that pull through force. ;)

Max spoke tension is 130kgf - said pull through at about 180

That's not that bad for the XC rims...

Are the AM & DH ones rated higher? LB states theirs have a max rating of 180kgf, but not sure if that is pull-through or max.

180kgf is pull through for lb - they also say 130kgf max spoke tension - I would assume the AM and DH ones are marginally higher

130kgf is pretty tight indeed - MUCH higher than Enve apparently  - Robodog will chip in with the numbers... :)

Similar numbers to LB and Pyga rims which is much higher than Enve.

With 180kgf the spoke will break before it pulls through the rim.

Shweet, yeah they look siiick on your bike! Test'em and give us a review sometime.

Ok eventually they got used and man am I impressed tires grip so much more and I can drop pressure more then before. They are bloody solid oven rocks and they gripped like pig **** on a blanket in the mud today. Stoked!

Back to the Light Bicycle.  I really like their rims.  These are 29" DH.

I've never seen or held these. What do you think of the road rims by light-bicycle?

I'm keen on their 700c u shape road rims of 35mm depth

Sounds good to me.........I feel they might be the Ones!

Thanks for the feedback.

Ya I was going to say. Nipple would strip before you got it that tight.
