Waarna soek ons?

Pres.

BMC en MTB is in dieselfde posisie as bogenoemdes.

Ontwikkeling.

The COO is the only CSA member known to have travelled the country setting up meetings with the cyclists and provincial bodies to establish what is required by them and whilst this was happening some CSA persons tried to get rid of him hence the uproar to have his contract renewed. You cannot make changes without knowing what must be changed and for what reasons this must be done.

I believe the COO will ensure us the cyclist benefit in the long run once he is through with all the paperwork and politics within CSA. Look at the apathy shown in November when the current CSA board requested provinces to justify the vote of no confidence in them and follow proper procedures. So the challenge is simple Provincial bodies get your act together for the sake of moving forward come April congress.

We know there are many persons out there can can do the job our COO is doing maybe even better BUT THEY need to step up to the plate and accept the challenge, don't kill something because of personal agendas

It's typical of the SA culture in business and goverment "NOT PREPARED TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY" and "NO ACCOUNTABILITY" but they want the glts & glitter of the position.

there are hundreds of people in cycling busting their asses trying to improve the sport, but why is it always the assholes described in 1st paragraph that get the positions.

Personally i believe as cyclists we are far too fragmented to make an impact, our biggest statements are made in forums like this because it's the only place we have to vent our anger and frustration.

We need to get united and find bigger ways to make ourselves heard.

When CSA introduced licences, we all moaned like bitches, but we all went like lambs to the slaughter and paid for them. What did we get in return?? absolutly zip. SO WHAT NOW??? if we were taxi drivers we would be rioting in the streets. But we are cyclists and by nature are content to simply complain and go about cycling, in the hope that it will get better.

Unity must start at individual cyclist level who is represented by club level, of which is represented by region and further represented by province. The mandate must come from the individual and channeled by the representation network to the controling body who are voted into office. If they don't do their jobs then we can vote them out.

I cannot wait for the day we as cyclists start boycotting races that put nothing back into cycling, that benefits the recreational cyclist. Charities recieve millions every year from our entry fees, but what do we as cyclist get.

Has any of our entry money ever been given to:-

Hector Norris park - (even just a little for maintenance)

ShaunH for cycling safety signs -

to name just 2 and i'm sure you hubbers could think of many more

"COME THE REVOLUTION" We need to fiiiiiiight against the dying of the light!!!!!!!!
