Got home yesterday not even haven gone for a ride yet and back tyre as flat as can be with white fluid all over my floor...... how can I determine if they converted it to tubeless......and why the milky fluid on my floor? TitusTi Posted March 20, 2008 Share They did convert and the conversion didn't take, the milky fluid is the sealant and you now don't have a tube, try pumping it up again and see if it stays inflated?After a conversion it's best to ride the bike stratight away, helps the sealant slosh about and seal. dirtrider Posted March 20, 2008 Share But it is better to ride slowly around the house a few times . It ensures that the fluid seals all the holes as there are always a few leaks first time around . Hey pump that wheel and go ride now ............ oh that damn work thing probably gets in the way sorry If you don't get it inflated with a hand/floor pump use a bomb (OK OK I know some say it will freeze/coagulate/stuff up the Stan's but I done plenty like that and I'm OK, but then again maybe I'm not ........) dirtrider Posted March 20, 2008 Share Not really . I always go for a short ride on a bike after the conversion and it always seals perfectly . It is more difficult to get a proper seal on old tyres and rim tape that got old sealant all over them . That tyre should inflate using a floor pump but use a bomb then if you must !
