The guys and girls riding in this video definitely have some skills. For the downhill these guys are riding a brake is definitely a necessity, but the legs are doing a huge amount of work. I can ride all the downhill trails in Tokai without a brake, but the brake makes certain sections more manageable. The Northshore trails I would struggle not using a brake. In fact I don't think I would manage a fair amount of the trail in the video without it. To think that Kris Holm was owning those trails 10 years ago, with no brake and without the standard of unicycle we have today is truly amazing in my opinion. I love where the sport of Mountain Uni was when I started riding almost 8 years ago, to where it is today. The advance in riding skill and Uni's available is amazing. I wish that those of you riding 2 wheels could actually see it the way I have ... I want to go ride some amazing trails ...
