Stuff like this makes my blood boil

A friend post to the SPCA facebook page about a dog that is tied up out the  Balmoral Supermarket in Albert Road, Woodstock.

It then becomes clear that this has been like this since November.

I call the SPCA to ask what is going on, get given the run-around. Told that everytime they visit the dog is not tied up.

I call the Security company to report the guard, and get told that it has nothing to do with me as the owner of the supermarket requested a dog. "but surely it is still an animal and needs to be treated correctly"?

Only to be told that " I dont need to talk to you at all"

Hey, let me call the supermarket and ask the owner if he can have a look at it.

I leave a message for him to call me back.

Phone rings.....

"Hi mr aaaa, WHAT is your problem?"

I tell him about the dog, and my concerns

" the dog is kept, has water and I am fine with it" Agrresive voice.

"You people can have your dogs sleep on your bed, in your estate house, but this is Woodstock"

I ask him what he mean, "you people"

He get very aggressive and rassist, shouts at me that I dont live in Woodstock, and this is a guard dog, not a pet and I should mind me own bussiness.....

"have you had a gun against your head" he asked.

I said that the dog wont be able to help if it is tied up outside.

Here are the pictures, I will not support this suppermarket or guarding company.....

this is rubbish.

Wait... I know a Vet with some contacts at the SPCA that could help...

Why not send the story to your local paper? Just a thought.

Just started that process.

Clearly the guarding company does not care for animals, maybe we can have them shut down by the end of the year   Or at least their Dog operation

Tie the whole lot to a pole and see how they feel about it then :cursing:

That is always the problem with animal abuse, the owners get slapped on the wrists, but never truly get the punishment they deserve.

Freeing the animal is the goal here, not punishing the human, because we all know it won't happen....

I have emailed the idiots saying it shows the calibre of their security company if this is how they treat their animals. Sadly I think its all too common within the 'security' industry.

According to SPCA and Animal Anti cruelty as long as the dog is well looked after it is OK?

He actually said to me that LOTS of people complain, but the animal is in good condition???

So that makes it OK?????????

I can not believe that is how animals are viewed.

Shame poor dog. Dogs like to run or at least walk around not get chained to a post like a bicycle. And then this week I read a post on FB about some D##S that beat a husky to death because it bit a goat. That's animals for you(and i'm not talking about the poor dog, he isn't an animal.)
