This will assist in providing more accurate data for our heat map and better inform other riders in the area. Could you perhaps provide further detail on the location: assuming it was on the R304 the approx. distance from the Adam Tas intersection would be most useful. For the moment I've updated your report location to better reflect the general area on the map. Many thanks,Matt

Lifttech Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Heading out of Stellenbosch you pass Khayamandi on your left. This is an extremely dangerous area where a lot of cyclists have been attacked and bikes stolen. I was one of the lucky ones that got away in February 2014 when 2 guys tried to kick me off my bike there. Try to avoid that area and even if you are super alert, you cannot always see them coming as there are a lot of bushes and hiding place next to the road.
