I'm about to throw my Scott Spark off a low pavement - the BLERRY kraaking, squeaking and groaning of the Spark is enough to drive you mal.  There have been many threads related to this, BB bearing this, pedals that, pivot lube what what - tried the whole list, but na aah, still creaks and kraaks.  P1S S poor design flaw that makes me sad because I really dig the bike

I have a friend who bought the same bike (Scott Spark 950 2013 model) December 2012 and he's had endless problems with it. I on the other hand haven't even serviced the BB, just wash bike, clean and lube chain and ride and probably done more riding than him. So I don't know if one can say it's a problem with the Spark range, you might just have a bike that's not as well made?

My Spark 940 also creeeeeeeeeeking, my mates does not and have never made a sound - only difference 8s he has xt pedals and I have shimano m520's, has to be the pedals in my case

Dont rush to buy XT pedals - I have XTs wif extra kraaak squeak and hopefully no snapping

it does seem pretty random, but with a sample size that is WAY too big not to be some sort of design fault.  Just look and see how many threads on the hub for confirmation.  I am actually not sure what to do about this, because it can drive you nuts

Either way my beast just works, seems I must be very lucky then!

And I can recommend your thread "Ladies and Bicycles" if other Hubbers want to see if "their beast just works"..... :D

Might sound like a weird suggestion, but have you ever tried to take the seat post completely out and ride a turn in your driveway by just standing on your pedals..
