That's when they replaced 2.8 with CAAD. 120-140mm travel trail bikes are dime a dozen these days especially in 29er format. I'd opt for the trailfox of two initially enquired about but the Rocky Mountain Instinct or Giant Trance would be my first choices. Either fitted with a LEfty Max 130/140 of courseThanks for the clarity on that... As for choice. Too much you almost have to ignore a whole portion of the alphabet. But rocky is a solid bet as well

Don Sol Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Have a look at the santa cruz tallboy C pricing. They come fully build. With various options. Its a carbon but not the same spec as the tallboy CC. A lot cheaper. But it only comes fully build not framed. CWC had them for 50k recently.
