Turn left out of your hotel and ride on the promenade north until you're just past Suncoast Casino complex. There's a car park there with Bike n Bean coffee shop. Just on your left now is the Blue Lagoon road (you'll race it on race day) which you can ride to Blue Lagoon, then left under the bridge, left at next traffic lights, down the cycle lane for 2kms. Then at the 3rd traffic lights (just past the pool) turn left under the bridge, then left again onto the Blue Lagoon road. That's a 5km lap. PS: but it's also perfectly fine to ride on the Promenade. People are doing that all day every day here. Just not sure how much will be closed off with race barriers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

skipperw Posted July 31, 2015 Share The expo is a big step up from EL. However, word of warning...if you stay at the Blue Waters hotel, there is an outside bar below there rooms that pumps the music.
