Even if you dont want to roll over the bumps there are options to avoid them. The school route is shaping up nicely!!

Cheese Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I wouldn't call a couple of bumps on a trail a downhill event, if anything it's a bit more trail orientated, everything can be rolled at any speed.I agree with you but looking at your Avatar your preference for flying through the air is clear.looking forward to the trail but was just thinking of thread Fandacious posted week or two ago.
Cheese Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Discovered a rear wheel bearing that is trashed last night. Has to be sorted before the event. Good thing I did not wait for friday night for bike prep...Also finally got my Front breakdisc not to rub against the Pads.Tried for couple of months and three Bike shops could not get it 100% .Hopefully this little bit less friction can add 1 lap to my distance, Maybe I will now be able to complete more than 2 in the time limit.

Some of the actual prizes we have so far are: 3 full bike servicesB&B weekend in Harties32gi hampersTiger brands hampersA remote control HelicopterCycling kitBike tools/stuffCash prizes (but these will not pay off your home loan or buy you a new bike, just a little something to make the day more worthwhile - it is a fundraiser for a remedial school ) Thanks for the info! suzieQ Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Looks like it could be a bit of a wet day! No certainly not....not at all. I will have brooms in trees, knives in the ground, whatever it takes!!! Accuweather says some rain overnight and early Saturday morning (but will be done by 6am) and then 50% chance of a storm at 3pm, so the race should be cloudy and cool....perfect riding weather.
