an acquaintance told me a something called intragam

a couple years ago, very sceptically I tried it out.

I swear by it now!

I get a 5ml shot (along with a B12) every 3 months, if I remember to, last time I had one was in August last year and it really helps to keep my immune system pretty strong.

It's not fool proof and I'm guessing won't work for for everyone, but I'm convinced it works.

It's not going to cure you if you're already wheezing, sneezing and coughing, but will help speed up recovery.

I type this with a scratchy throat  ... my script has been lying on my dining table at home for two weeks now, need to make a plan to go get jabbed.  :whistling:

hi

I had the same throat infection problems.

But the Dr said it is the Aircon at work and allergies, thus no immune booster will help me.

I am on a nasal spray Omnair... or something like that.... to help me with this... so far so good.

It is a hectic spray and I can feel it go up into my brain.. ha ha ha.

But I hope this will work because I seem to get sick just as I am getting into it.

Best of luck with your throats guys...

Speak to your doc about an immune system booster. I take Intragam immunoglobin every 5-6 months etc and this usually keeps me illness free. Just had a top up this weekend after coming down with light flu last week, been a while though.

Doesn't matter what pills or boostersyou take. If the cold and flu wants you, it'll get you. Wash your hands often and don't touch your face. Best you can do.

100% agree with you. I work in a food factory and we have to wash and sanitize our hands every time we enter the factory. I haven't been sick in 18 months

Have you been tested for allergies?

I went through the same last year. course after course of AB's and just kept coming back.

Doc sent me for blood test for allergies and turns out that I have certain allergies. Been put on a daily dose of antihistamines and it seems to have solved the problem

At the onset of season change I start taking antihistamine as a precaution, then if everything fails Corenza.

I seem to get a niggle and the post nasal drip causes the infection. Prevent the drip and you are sorted.

Seems like this infection is evolving, my voice is near gone and I sound like someone whos been smoking buttons.

This morning I took a cocktail of 2*acc 1*corenza and 1 berocca. I also got me some viral guard spray to help with the throat scratching..

Ek gee op!!
