Some okes really don't want to do the Epic

So it's legal to ride on this piece of road. There is virtually no traffic to be seen. The cyclists are riding in single file. They are wearing helmets. This is a cycling forum.

This thread was started to point out their stupidity and to deny their right to be on the road.

Exactly what the #staywider campaign is about. A cyclist's right to share the road.

the few million spent so far on this campaign has done little to make roads safer for cyclists. 5 cyclists 'down' in the week before the argus (2 deceased). i bet the number of cycling incidents has remained the same since the campaign has started. and then we have our chairman in the week leading up to the argus pleading to motorists to be patient for just 1 more week.oh ja, what about the rest of the year ? you are preaching to the converted, instead of spending R2.5 mill a year on celebrities (thats what you call them) rather pay someone to visit all the bus and truck companies and preach to the unconverted. then we might see some respect from other users until then you might as well flush the money down the toilet.
