The situation has got worse with the Record reporting that David has been suspended and evicted from his house (which is in Groenkloof and which he rents as per contract). David is a fellow triathlete (Ironman) trail runner and mtbker (transbaviaans), who has improved the Tswane nature reserves (Groenkloof, Rietvlei, Klapperkop ext ext) for over a decade. We all OWE David support in this time. His suspension does not bode well for mtbking and trail running in Pretoria. It is time our community unite on this issue. Do what you can to support him and his family and get his reinstatement. Please keep this thread alive until David is back. (Spidy can you change the title to Reinstate David or Save Groenkloof)) Any ideas how we can support him? Email address we can flood? Telephone numbers. Twats.I suppose we could send him messages of support to David and his staff on his cell phone, so he knows he does not stand alone. The DA seems to have become involved and so has the ANC, so we could contact our politicians and demand some sort of fairplay and transparency in this affair. If anyone knows the contact details of the ANC and DA councillors involved they could post them here so that we can start requesting information on the issue. I don't think anyone has received enough information to justify picketing and boycotting the reserve yet. (although just the news of labour unrest has resulted in people avoiding the reserve).

I am asking from a safety point of view, sadly the next headline will be a lot more gruesome, there isnt a win if he stays, KEEP IN MIND I WANT HIM THERE, but this is SA there will be a "burglary" and it will get chalked up to STATS OF CRIME IN SA as do all other murders of law abiding citizens
