Must be a Spez. Mine is the same

with my newest build the bloody thing creaked terribly. Took her on two trail rides and then went silent. .......seems you just have to show your bike whose boss :P

Yanked all my suspension bolts/bushings, reinserted and torqued correctly: creak no more. Everything was overtorqued, clearly the person who worked on my suspension doesn't own a torque wrench!

Now to hunt down the clicking sound from the front of my bike... sigh.

Eureka, found the problem, cleats too deep in the soles of my shoes causing 'orrible squeaking when applying uphill force to pedals. Tried to find a shim in lbs but gave up and eventually filed the bottom of shoe till flush with cleats - squeak spirit GONE

only took a month!

Anyone got anything to sort out the click clack in my Mavic Cosmic SL front wheel?

I would suggest the following:- 1. lube dropouts 2. lube scewer springs 3. remove tube, tape valve...and 4. check the nipples and grease- these rims like to crack there :whistling:

Turns out it wasn't the wheels.  Noise coming from the headset.  Did the whole strip, lube, new bearings, rebuild story and still there.  Only when torquing.  LBS now says it may be a fine crack in the frame.  Insurance!!!!

Tightened down the headset bolt and the clicking is gone. Worn bearings?

Aaaand... my crank started squeaking on Saturday. This is like a game of whack-a-mole.

I must say though, my bike is positively silent compared to some of the noisy things cruising around at Northern Farm. I have the urge to run around with a bottle of oil and help some people out.
